Day Ticket Flyfishing on the Derbyshire Wye
Premium quality river flyfishing is always difficult to find and consequently we are delighted to make available a perfect stretch of our fishery to the visiting angler. The day ticket fishery extends from Upperdale Bridge (the bridge at the head of Monsal Dale) to just below Cressbrook Mill, some ¾ mile of double bank fishing. Upperdale Bridge can be identified by satellite navigation from the post code SK17 8SZ
This water is exclusively for the use of day ticket holders with a maximum of 4 rods per day. The rules are simple – upstream dry fly or nymph (no lures), maximum hook size 12 barbless, no wading and a two fish daily limit. Tickets are available from Stephen Moores the Head Keeper on 01298 871676, price £40.
